It is nearing my second favourite season of the year! There are less than 2 weeks until Christmas and I am nearing the end of my (short list) of Christmas shopping. This year, I am spending Christmas in Germany with my boyfriend’s family which means I need to pull out all the stops for the perfect presents for them. So, there’s no better time than now for a quick blog post about Christmas gifts for your boyfriend’s (or girlfriend’s) mom or dad.

Gift ideas for your partner’s mom:
- Dried flowers handmade necklace: If your partner’s mom is anything like mine, they love flowers! What better way to keep flowers nearby than in the dried formed around your neck? There are tons of options on Etsy, however, this one is the one I bought for my boyfriend’s mom for Christmas.

- Fitbit Charge 2 fitness watch: It’s been the trend for the past few years to getting healthier and more fit. I’ve jumped on the bandwagon and bought myself a new fitness watch and so far I am loving it. Personally, I didn’t buy a Fitbit because my wrist is too small.

- Polaroid camera: Does your partner’s mom love making memories and taking photos? I know my parents are finding the digital age a bit annoying. - Flowering teapot (or flower tea nests): This is the ideal present for the moms that loves tea and flowers. When you put the flower tea nests in the hot water it will open it up. Mom’s will enjoy their tea both taste wise and visually!

- Beautiful vase: I guess you are starting to sense a theme? I am personally a huge fan of flowers that brighten up the room, so is my mom. However, flowers die out, therefore, we should invest in something longer lasting. Pick an amazing flower vase that can last forever.

- BBQ, Toolset: Every man needs handy tools or BBQ set. Either he is a handyman that needs the necessary tools to help him out or he is an outdoorsy person that enjoys a good BBQ.

- Fitness watch (Garmin Vivosmart HR+): Following the previous comments, getting fit is the latest trend and so is keeping track of it. From research and experience of trying it out, I find Garmin to be very suitable for men! It is a bit thicker and clunker however manly.

- Electric Razor: Every man that is still working will need a good shave every morning. This is something that could be useful but they might already have.

- Chromecast for home: There are many options in the market for SmartTV and casting shows. My personal favourite is Chromecast because it isn’t completely locked and limited. Chromecast is useful to cast the screens from computers and cell phones with no limit since it doesn’t have an interface of its own.
